There are cows in our garden. @_@ Japo was at work and he didn’t bring his phone with him so I had to call Daniel. They were from the farm near the beach, apparently. It amuses me that they walked 3 kms on the main road without anyone seeing them.

I don’t like it when the Lakers lose. It doesn’t help, at all, that Japo won’t stop cheering for the other team. Grr.

We took out our winter clothes from last year and added new ones we bought in town. I don’t see the point really. Spring and summer went by and I wasn’t really able to wear “summer” clothes anyway. Tsk.

We had plans to do the groceries today but someone had a pretty bad hangover from last night. I didn’t realize how bad it was ‘til he started talking about our high school lives, LOL. So random.

Had to take a test because of plans for alcohol tonight. It was negative. Dinner and drinks with friends to celebrate our extended stay in NZ, and as a despedida for Tanya and the kids. Bittersweet day.

We haven’t really had a lot of seafood dishes here. Most of the fishes look weird and I absolutely have no idea how to cook them. The only fish we regularly have is blue cod from the fish ‘n chips store, canned sardines in oil, and canned mackerel in tomato sauce. I miss tilapia and lapu-lapu! And tanigue. And tulingan. And fish balls!!! :(

According to the weather forecast, which is pretty accurate, we’ll be having rain for the next few weeks. I’ll be okay without the sun as long as there will be rainbows.
